Benefits of Each Ingredient
Oats: Oats have been used for skin maladies since 2000 bc. They should not be forgotten as one of the original skin remedies. Oats contain sopanins which attach to impurities and gently remove excess oil from the skin with absolutely no drying or tightening of the skin. Colloidal oatmeal was recognized by the FDA as a skin protectant in 2003. It is one of the few herbs recognized in the United States for its natural properties. Oats 6 major components that are recognized as scientifically beneficial for skin. Avenanthramides (anti-itch, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-irritant), avenacins (sopanin and anti-fungal), flavanoids (anti-bacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory), phenolics (antioxidant), Beta-Glucan (sought after skin ingredient now because it is highly penetrative and has shown to have more ling term hydration protection than hyaluronic acid, speeds healing), lipids (work to protect the skin, antioxidant), and peptides.
Oats provide all those benefits and otherwise expensive components in one beautiful place.
Sucanat- Naturally occurring alpha-hydroxy acids? Yes, please! This is the only true "sugar in the raw" that actually exists. Sucanat is fresh pressed and dried cane juice without undergoing any removal of vitamins or minerals. Sugar is an easy source of alpha-hydroxy acids where other companies want to isolate and charge an arm and leg for them, I found them in their rawest form with the inclusion of nutritive vitamins and minerals.
Alpha-hydroxy acids- (as found in sucanat) are well-known to speed up cell regeneration and improve the smoothness and brightness of skin. Glycolic acid is the main alpha-hydroxy in sugar cane and this is the smallest of the acids and works to gently break the bond between old skin cells so they can slough away without irritation or rough scrubbing. Glycolic acid also increases the moisture level in the skin cells keeping them plump and healthy.
Yucca Root Powder- also known as "soap root." This is a wonderful natural cleanser and lathers slightly on it's own. Not only does it cleanse, it also contains a wealth of nutrition for the skin: calcium, potassium, Vitamins A, B and C, iron, copper, manganese, and phosphorus.
Cape Aloe Vera- Cape Aloe is the world's most active aloe vera with twice as many healing monosacharides and up to 3 times the amino acid content of typical aloe vera. Cape Aloe is such a wonderful skin treatment because it can be applied to the most tender and sensitive skin with amazing results. Cape Aloe grows only in the lowest region of South Africa and was not available in the United States until recently.

My skin type: sensitive & hormonal cystic acne. What helped to heal my skin: Brazen Bee Products + Skin Cycling. Even using EXCLUSIVELY Brazen Bee for 5+ years now, I found that doing too much for/with my skin at once was overload for my skin, so I pulled back to only necessary products combined with skin cycling and found MASSIVELY positive results. Love this product. I needed something for senior acne. Never had a lot of problems before but after retirement I didn’t wear makeup everyday and started breaking out. This product has help with that issue and when I do get a blend it is gone in a day!

Georgia Sweet, used as a night face wash, has kept my rosacea under control. I am a health care worker and wear a mask all day at work. The pandemic was affecting my skin as a consequence of the mask wearing. Georgia Sweet has helped control the breakouts.

I can't say enough about this product. My red, psoriasis-prone skin calmed down after this. It smells amazing and makes skin feel refreshed, not dry and tight after using.

This is hands down the best facial cleansing product I have ever used. Within a week of use I noticed decreased redness and overall increased clarity. This facewash/scrub is a game changer for me. I love that these products can be customized and that they are so natural and do such an amazing job. I'm seriously IN LOVE with these products and have already noticed a difference in my skin and I've only been using this for a week!
I love this face wash, it's soft while still exfoliating and getting my skin really clean. I love that my skin doesn't feel dry after using this wash. I recommend using it with Courtney's Blatant toner as well. :) Definitely a happy customer!

I tried Georgia Sweet Facewash after being a sold user of EffOff Facewash and Melee Facewash. I love how soft my face is afterward! It is nice to have the my two cleansers of sweet and salt contrast, and to blend the Georgia Sweet with the Melee Facewash.
I had previously been using the Eff Off cleanser and I loved it, but it was a little too harsh still for my rosacea. I switched to the Georgia Sweet and I LOVE it so much more! It is much gentler on my skin and I am already noticing a reduction in the redness in my skin. My face is smoother, the skin firmer and the tone much more even. My face has never felt so hydrated AND clean which is something I did not experience with the old cleansers I used. I HIGHLY recommend Georgia Sweet!
When I first got into Brazen Bee, EffOff facescrub was all the rave--and for good reason! But my skin found it a bit too harsh. Georgia Sweet was on the rise for those with sensitive skin, and it proved to work better for me. Before turning to oil cleanses as a primary, I used georgia sweet. I actually still use it as a face mask and it is effective as it is sweet!
