This is the first step in our three part series for hyper-pigmentation, melasma, age spots, and dull skin.

We've taken our Melee Facewash Base and picked the perfect herb blend for you for pigmentation issues or even just for aging skin that we would like to see plump up again.

The herbs included are 

Amla: Gallic Acid is prominent in Amla. This is now a common ingredient in skincare formulas to lighten the skin in a natural way by interrupting the production of melanin. I am not a fan of skin lightening, but using herbs that even out melanin production just generally work to create a more even skin tone. Especially after a sunny summer.

White Willow Bark Concentrate: concentrate powder aging skin and acne. Scientific studies show improvement of lines and wrinkles within 1 week and very noticeable improvement in 6 weeks. White Willow Bark improves the skin's ability to holds it own moisture, therefore increasing the plumpness of cells.

Horsetail*: Great source of silica and phosphorous which treats blemishes like acne and boils effectively. Important nutritive for aging skin. Horsetail is used internally for improvement in hair, skin, and nails for it's array of minerals and vitamins that help with collagen production.

Butcher's Broom*: Treatment for rosacea, constricts vessels and reduces swelling- also treats under eye puffiness and dark circles.

Cucumber ConcentrateAn intense source of vitamin K, which is known to topically help skin heal faster, reduce dark circles and uneven skin tone, and assist with rosacea.

Barley Grass*: Delivers manganese, phosphorus, and copper, vitamin C, selenium (particularly helpful for skin elasticity). In general, deeply nutritive for supporting healthy skin

Cranesbill (Geranium) Root*:High in tannins- a treatment for wrinkles and infection, astringent- reduce pores

Burdock Root*:  Recent studies have shown that Burdock has one of the strongest actions of causing the skin to consume it's own extra melanin that it previously produced. Active anti-oxidants: Arcigen, Chlorogenic acid, Lactone, Taraxosterols, Polyacetylenes, Flavonoids.
