Whipped Argan Body Butters: why so expensive??

Jan 15th 2015

These heavenly bodies were meant for your heavenly body- the whole darn thing!!

I looked hard for affordable Argan lotions that actually had quality ingredients. The closest thing I found was Josie Maran’s at Sephora. Then my heart sank. While Argan oil is the third ingredient, it is after aloe vera (something we can all purchase cheaply) and then has a vast list of ingredients after it, which further dilutes the precious Argan you want. Oddly, Josie Maran claims ALL of these ingredients are natural. Heart sinking again for all the people who believe it. I’m sorry, but Polysorbate-60, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyl Dimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Fragrance and Ethylhexylglycerin are not natural. In addition to these not naturally made ingredients are several thickeners that qualify as overkill in my book. 4 different types of thickeners? I wonder if the weight of just the 4 of those makes up more than the healing Argan oil you want out of this product?

So I made my own Whipped Argan minus the junk plus better stuff.

How and when to use Brazen’s Whipped line-

This is your mainstay body lotion. A little goes a long way because there are zero fillers here. Use on legs, feet, chest, back, arms, tummy, private locations… Aaaaand

For your hair!! I started using Whipped as my hair styling product a year ago and more and more clients are jumping on the Whipped Train for their body AND hair. It can work as a leave-in conditioner for hair to repair dryness and take out the frizz. Just be stingy and don’t over-do it!

Whipped makes a wonderful massage oil once it is warmed in the palms and the healing topical benefits and aromatherapy benefits of the essential oils is fantastic.

Get Whipped, you love it
