Don't be scared of healthy fats. Give your skin what it NEEDS

Fat phobia isn't cool. It can lead to deficiencies and side effects worse than bad skin. Many dermatologists and skincare formulators are into the “oil free” movement. Others are “slugging” at night (did you know I’ve had *my* clients slugging for 14 years?!)

Stop avoiding oils/fat on your face. You’re not doing yourself any favors, I promise. In fact, you are definitely doing harm in the long run. Your skin REQUIRES fat to build skin cells. And yes, topical fat works.

“Topical treatment with essential fatty acids has been shown to alleviate essential fatty acid deficiency in humans, as measured in the skin and serum levels [1].”

When I formulated all of my moisturizers, I wanted to pack in every bit of nutrition possible. Other formulators aren’t interested in your skin health at all if there aren’t any true plant oils in good quantities in your moisturizer. Sorry, but that’s a fact. The science on this is clear.

Plant oils have been used on human skin for thousands of years, and for good reason. They alleviate dryness not only by providing a feeling of moisturizing, but PLANT OILS CONTAIN CERAMIDES! They work to positively improve your skin’s ability to retain moisture and to heal ails like acne, eczema, keratosis pilaris and more.

Skin issues can’t be healed without the right fats being present in the skin. That being said, not every oil is for every skin. I started my formulating with people who were all sensitive to a LOT of ingredients. So, if you are a sensitive human, try my moisturizers.
